That's why we're excited to share that we've added the Durst Tau G3 Peak to our production floor. A truly next generation UV inkjet digital label press that's about to completely enhance what's possible for our clients' labeling needs.
We first unveiled this addition ahead at LOUPE 2026 in September, and now that the press is in our facility, we wanted to break down exactly what it means for the clients we work with.
What the Durst Means For Our Clients
Increased Durability - Using photopolymerization (a chemical cross linked reaction), UV ink is transformed from liquid to solid, allowing for maximum resistance from abrasion, chemicals, and outdoor exposures, just to name a few.
Sharper, More Consistent Color and Detail - Finer text, cleaner gradients, and more accurate color reproduction, the kind of detail that matters when a label is doing double duty as both compliance documentation and a shelf appeal tool.

- Print speeds up to 328 ft/min (100 m/min), depending on configuration
- Print widths from roughly 13 to 20 inches (338-510 mm),giving us flexibility across a wide range of label formats
- Extended color gamut meaning CMYK plus orange, violet, green, and white for a broader, more accurate color range than standard four color process
- UV curing with the Tau RSC ink set, known for excellent resistance properties and a broad color space, and trusted across food, beverage, and durable goods applications
- Durst ARC (Automatic Register Control) for real-time color registration that reduces waste and keeps quality consistent throughout a run
- Durst MEP (Material Edge Protection), which uses optical edge sensors and protective plating to safeguard printheads and extend uptime
- Broad substrate compatibility, handling paper, film, and foil across a wide thickness range one press, many applications
