Behind the Label is our employee spotlight series, highlighting the people who help bring the labels to life. In each feature, we share the stories of the individuals whose dedication, expertise, and teamwork help us serve our customers every day.
One thing that hasn't changed in over 142 years at GRLabel is that strong customer relationships at GRLabel depend on teamwork across many roles. Claudia Rocha-Adams, an Account Service Coordinator since 2022, plays a critical part in that effort by making sure communication stays clear and orders stay on track.
Much of Claudia’s impact occurs behind the scenes. Her extensive cross functional communication and alignment makes sure that orders stay on track and customer expectations are met. Claudia's attentiveness ensures that our client's needs are always addressed in a prompt and thorough manner. By partnering closely with our sales and production team, she creates the best possible experience for every client. This is part of what Claudia describes as the most rewarding in her role.
“There’s rarely a typical day. Some might assume the role revolves around constantly being on the phones with our clients, but there's so much more”
Claudia credits much of her success to her willingness to be a continuous learner. By staying curious and open to feedback, she has continued to expand her knowledge and strengthen her role within the Client Experience Team. When asked what she advice she would give to someone just starting at GRLabel, her answer mirrored that same mindset:
"You have to want to learn. Be open to continuous learning and growth. By approaching challenges with a mindset focused on learning, every experience becomes a chance to get better."
A Team Effort
Claudia is quick to point out how impactful the relationships she’s built within the Client Experience Team have been. She notes that their relationships go much beyond the offce.
“My team is what I enjoy most about working at GRLabel. We’re a close group and challenge each other both professionally and personally.”
That supportive culture is something she believes defines Grand Rapids Label. Coworkers often step in to help each other when needed. That environment has also shaped her own professional growth.
Claudia credits April Hall (Director of Client Experience) and Kaylee Kransberger (Quality Engineer) as major influences in her GRLabel journey. Kaylee was instrumental in training her when she first started back in 2022, and April has played a key role in supporting her continued growth within the department. Both relationships have made an impact not only professionally, but personally as well.

April shared a similar sentiment regarding Claudia's impact at GRLabel:
“Claudia is great, she is so passionate about providing the best service possible. She totally owns her client accounts; she always works hand in hand with the Sales reps and our Production team to make the best possible experience for our clients. Claudia looks sweet, but she is not a pushover at all. She will go to bat for any of her clients, and fight for what is right in every circumstance."
Robert Walker, Sales Engineer, works closely with Claudia on shared accounts and had high praise for her as a teammate:
“Claudia is absolutely an essential component of my territory’s success. I can depend on her to take care of our customers, especially when I’m traveling. She’s an invaluable partner in growing business and building strong long term relationships.”
Outside the Office
Outside of work, Claudia is a true crime enthusiast, as she’s always fascinated by how people interact (which explains her minor in psychology). It all started with the great Amber Heard and Johnny Depp trial in 2022. From there, she became hooked on watching court trials on YouTube.
Claudia also enjoys thrifting in her free time. (In order to maintain competitive edge in the thrifting landscape, Claudia opted to keep the locations of her primary thrifting stores confidential). She also loves home décor projects through transforming spaces and finding unique design ideas. Before you know it, you may just find her on HGTV.
Ultimately, her dream is to one day own a wedding venue on her property. For now, that case remains open!
